This moving company damaged our furniture that we had for over 17 yrs. Their employees stole from us, insulted my husband and we trusted them with everything we owned. They were careless making marks on our walls in our brand new home. They damaged our refrigerator, dressers, mattress, desk and curio cabinets. They stole from us on top of this. We couldn’t move ourselves due to injuries and surgeries my husband underwent but the employees were saying “it’s always the people that can move themselves that bitch”. We paid thousands of dollars for this move. Then the owner, George, told us “you will receive a check anyday”. That was on 11/18/21. We have never received any check and George blocked my husbands phone number. Please beware of this company. They don’t care about anything and they don’t respect your belongings. I would never use them or suggest to anyone to use this company! I would give zero

We used MoveCrew LLC on March 3rd to move our stuff from two condos into a large single-family home not far away, My initial contact was with Sheena via e-mail and phone. She was very professional, reponded quickly, and gave me a prompt price quote. George and his two-man crew (Isaac and Derrick) arrived on time and went right to work. They did more than I expected them to do and handled our furniture with care. They were courteous at all times. Their price was all-inclusive (including a spinet piano). I would recommend them to family and friends.

Service cost: $975

I received an estimate from George within seconds of sending a picture of a large piece of furniture I needed moved within 24 hours. The moment I spoke to him, it was apparent I was speaking to a professional. He picked up the piece the same evening, calling to let me know when he was running a few minutes late, then texting when he was close! He carefully wrapped the piece and he & his helper Isaac were respectful, friendly and professional. I will gladly recommend George & his crew to anyone needing to be moved..he is a professional through & through who obviously takes great pride in a job well done! Cost was very reasonable, but site requires three digits for service cost.

George and his team arrived promptly as agreed and got right to work.  They carefully wrapped my belongings and worked well as a team packing and loading the truck.  I had a TON of stuff, and the team remained friendly and pleasant even as we crested the 12 hour mark.  We dealt with issues like a refrigerator not fitting into a doorway in a city house, which should have been nerve racking, but the team split up and two of them worked that issue while two others continued unloading the truck.  My mother was present for my move and firmly declared that there was no way my king sized mattress was going to fit up the stairs.. And I'm happily lying on it now as I write this review.  Sheena, the owners wife, checked in throughout the day to ensure things went smoothly.  The Move Crew had a pleasant, efficient team at a fair price.  Thanks for a smooth transaction.

Service cost: $1200

This company is unprofessional and caused me hardship. The movers arrived without tools and asked to borrow mine. Then the movers asked to stop work to buy more packing materials since they did not bring enough with them. Then the movers damaged several of my furniture items when loading the truck. then the movers did not unpack all of my items because it was almost 2am before they finished. George and Sheena refused to handle my claims and I had to hire an attorney. They refused to respond to me and my attorney. I will be filing complaints with the Delaware Office of the Attorney General and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. I am also considering taking them to court to sue for damages. As you may guess, I do NOT recommend this company.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1050

I made a mistake hiring the Move Crew to move a 4-piece bedroom set from Newark, DE to North Wilmington,DE for $250, plus $40 in tips. I read some good reviews so I took a chance that I now regret. One more mover that isn't worth my money!

The Move Crew were scheduled to come the day of 2/27/19. I called the day prior to confirm, and Shina (the owner's wife) said I could have the bedroom set moved that day since a truck would be available 4:00 - 5:00, so I agreed.

The movers put blankets around the furniture and then shrink wrapped it. Each piece was covered.

I should have declined and kept my original date since the movers finally got to my place around 8:30 p.m. I could tell they had a long day and appeared tired, but that doesn't excuse the fact that they didn't try to put the headboard and frame around the bed, nor did they secure the large top with a mirror to the dresser. They took The hardware that faster The mirror to dresser with them.

The next day while I was cleaning the mirror, the mirror slide down and the unsecured top moved towards me. I called George Williams, owner of the Move Crew, to relay the details of what happened. He said he would fix both issues. I called Shina to schedule a date. She told me to call George.

That was my first indication there was going to be a problem.

I called George, but I could not reach him. This went on for some time before I got a date scheduled. That was to be 3/13/19. So, I made sure not to schedule anything that day.

On 3/12/19, I called to confirm the date and time with Shina. Shina confirmed the date/time.

On 3/13/19, 11:00 came and went. So around 1:00, I called the office. Shina answered and said to call George. I could tell by her voice she didn't want to deal me.

I called George and left him 2 messages, with no return call. I also called the office again requesting a return call but never got one.

I waited over 2 weeks for them to return to fix what should have been done right the first time and I paid them as agreed.

I honored my part of the deal, but making a customer wait 2 weeks to have furniture put together and secured is too long to make someone wait and then leave them hanging -- well, I think others should know this too may happen to you.

ON 3/13/19, NO ONE CALLED OR SHOWED UP!!

Around 8:00 a.m. on 3/14/19, I called George to find out when would he'd be coming to fix things. George stated he would be working in Wilmington all day and would come that afternoon. George came and put the headboard on, but did not have the hardware that the movers took for the dresser, plus a bracket to secure the mirror.

George said he had to take his 4-year-old son somewhere and he would be back in about an hour. BUT HE NEVER RETURNED NOR DID HE CALL.

So once again I called the office, and Shina (remember this is his wife and office manager) said to me "What do you want now?" with annoyance in her voice. I replied my mirror attached to my dresser and that this was not a new issue. I told her George was told previously and I believe I told her too.

My impression is that if you have a small job and it's done when the movers aren't tired, then you may stand a better chance than me.

However, should you have an issue or require George to fix issues, you will probably get the same "friendly" reception as I did from Shina.

My issues may not be important to Shina, but I am only asking for the services for which I paid $250.

Shina is the one who rescheduled the initial move, misleading me and woman who I got the set from, by stating the truck would be available between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. That wasn't the case at all and guess who benefited most of all -- the owner's -- now it's my problem.

So now I will be hiring a handyman after I take care of one other thing.

Next time, it's Bayshore or Firpo, they cost more, but they're worth it.

I used Move Crew LLC for my move from Wilmington to Bear on May 10. Communication with Sheena prior to the move was great. She answered my questions and was friendly and accommodating to my requests. The quote for the move was lower than the other four companies I called and the Move Crew did a much better job than movers I have used in the past. The amount quoted was the exact amount I was charged.

The movers arrived on time and worked carefully wrapping my furniture, including a glass dining room table. They carefully loaded everything onto the truck, arrived at our new home and carefully unloaded it all. They reassembled what they took apart. I have a professional (very heavy) butcher block prep table that had a loose/uneven bottom rack that was too heavy for me to realign. They even fixed that for me and tightened it correctly, which they did not have to do.

They wasted no time, they worked together quickly but carefully and were efficient. I highly recommend The Move Crew.

I hired Move Crew to move my two offices to a much larger office. I can't say enough about how professional and on point the moving crew were. The crew arrived on time and assured me they could get the job done s quickly as possible. The crew went above and beyond to make sure our items were arranged correctly. We had seven men moving our offices and they all worked well together. A BIG shout out to Shenna and her crew. I'm happy to recommend to family and friends.
